PrimeNet Lisbon Workshop
16 a 18 Set. 2010
The forthcoming PrimeNet Workshop will be hosted by IST, in Lisbon,
and it is organized by Centro de Física Teórica de Partículas,
Departamento de Física, from September 16th to 18th.
The PrimeNet network involves 27 universities and laboratories in Europe, United States, Japan and Russia. Its objective is to coordinate activities at different European research infrastructures and university theory centers concerning different experiments in hadronic and meson physics, in particular the eta-eta' meson system.
Two important goals are:
-the optimization of capabilities of the facilities including their detector systems,
-the development of theoretical models linking different data to extract information concerning properties of resonances, chiral dynamics and the nature of some resonances as well as of different light mesons.
The PrimeNet Lisbon Workshop is the follow-up of two previous Workshops held in Frascati and Bonn. The scientific program of the PrimeNet Lisbon Workshop includes talks on eta and eta' decay experiments, eta-nucleon interactions and eta-mesic nuclei, and pi-pi scattering.
