Research interests: High Energy Physics phenomenology at the Large Hadron Collider LHC
My research interest is in the area of Standard Model phenomenology, particularly the computation of perturbative QCD corrections which allow for precision tests of our understanding of high energy particle physics at hadron colliders. I am especially interested in developing and refining new techniques to carry out such computations and in their application to deliver results which can be used by the LHC and future experiments. At high energies the coupling constant of QCD is small such that a perturbative approach to quantum field theory is applicable and has been successful in the computation of cross sections for many final states produced in proton-proton collisions at the LHC. In this context my research output has been driven towards making available to the experimental particle physics community theoretical predictions that will serve as an input for the data analysis at the LHC, for the high luminosity LHC phase and at future colliders.
